M.K.S. College was established in the year 1967 which is presently affiliated to Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga (Bihar). It is one of the most prominent institutions of Darbhanga district, in Bihar. M.K.S. College, Chandauna has been assiduously shaping the socio-academic needs of the youth right from its day of foundation in 1967. Chandauna, the region of Bihar, has a unique scenic beauty carved by the green fields, tributaries, mango, leechi and banana orchards. When the college was established in the year 1967, it got affiliation from the then Bihar University, Muzaffarpur but later it was granted affiliation from Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga after the establishment of LNMU in the year 1972. Presently, it is a constituent unit of Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga, Bihar since it's affiliation and is serving the huge number of students belonging to three districts of Bihar. The rivers passing nearby the College are Kamala and Burhi Gandak. Along with Undergraduate programs in Arts, Science and Commerce fields, Postgraduate programs in Arts field are also currently running in this college in the current academic session.
